I’ve toyed with the idea of doing art challenges in the past but have always been intimidated. It seemed too large an undertaking. Too serious. I felt I’d have to make some kind of masterpiece every day. Ugh! (Not that I believed any of my prior work had been a masterpiece anyway LOL)

Lately however, I’ve come across some lovely podcasts by artists that have made this concept much more accessible, less weighty.

And so, here I go.

I’m planning to do a 30 paintings in 30 days adventure. (Adventure sounds so much more fun than “challenge"!)

I’ll set some parameters:

  1. Water media & dry media -watercolours, Acrylics, charcoal, colored pencils etc Maybe little sculptures too. Fun!

  2. Keep it quick. An hour-ish.

  3. My goal is to push my studio practice and explore within my parameters this time.

  4. These will be for sale. There. No more being shy about offering my work to the world ;)

Are you coming along for the ride? I’d love to have some company! I’ll send an email once a week with updates.

You can sign up HERE to join in the fun.
