My imagination has long been inspired by reading the works of J.R.R. Tolkien, C.S. Lewis and others. Tolkien’s world building is astounding and I found myself wishing to ride the fabulous Shadowfax, the magnificent Mearas stallion of Rohan. The Mearas are the legendary “first horses” of the land. Wise, powerful and loyal to the the righteous, they spark longing in the hearts of many horse lovers.
Always inspired by LotR, Rohan and Shadowfax! This heraldic pendant is born from my love for Tolkien's work. It's probably just the first of many, if I follow my heart!
