Sculpted with devotion to detail, capturing the essence of this beloved, magnificent horse in fine silver so that my collector can keep him close to her heart always.
Believe it or not it took no small amount of courage to reach out to a talented professional photographer I follow to request permission to sculpt a wee silver pendant inspired by her work.
I was thrilled that the lovely @dphoovesandpaws (Instagram) received my request with kindness and enthusiasm.
I was excited to begin the project.
And then the unthinkable happened.
Her beloved Alpine, my model, passed away unexpectedly. There are no words to encompass this devastating loss. The heart must heal in it's own time. My heart is with hers as she mourns and heals.
My hope is that this tiny sculpted likeness might be a memento of her beloved heart horse, a precious token of her love to touch and hold.
