It's Only Natural

Its only natural, this obsession with animals and nature.

When I was little I spent much of my free time high up in a tree or down at the creek catching frogs and snakes (much to my mother's horror).

I longed to ride horses (thank you Walter Farley for the dreams of flight and freedom!). I tried to connect with and understand every animal I met as well as those I never could but learned about thanks to documentaries on tv.

Naturally my art is focused on them.

These tiny sculpture casts in silver, bronze and ceramic earthenware are such a delightful part of the journey.
