Bring on the Unicorns!

I confess...

I'm a big fantasy literature lover. Narnia, the Hobbit, the Lord of the Rings are central but there are many more stories and series I've enjoyed.

This unicorns, mermaids and dragons were long a subject matter I drew and painted. I left them off for a long while but they keep surfacing in rather pleasant ways ;)

Their stories are tugging at me 💜

I’m delighted to explore these themes again. They’re often filled with wonder and hope. The stories themselves are centered around overcoming obstacles, a struggle and challenges to overcome. Eventually the hero or heroine succeeds and in the process they’re changed. How very like life. And somehow it is an escape to read these stories of struggle and progress and not think about the daily lives we sometimes must experience.
