Story telling through Presentation & Packaging

I'm slowly figuring out how to present and package my tiny sculpted pendant jewellery. Its so important to me that it be both protective and beautiful, that it have a long life and not quickly end up in the bin.

I want it to elevate and support the value of my work and contribute meaningfully to my Collector's lifestyle. I'm on a journey of discovery and exploration and find I am not easily satisfied.

My first choice would be locally made from locally grown trees. Just a wee bit of a challenge! So far I am only finding imported things that barely approximate my desire.

Frustrating. But I will persist!

Currently, I’ve found “book” style (gift card) boxes and though I quite like the appearance, they might be a bit large for some items and not deep enough for others.

I found some wooden “book” style boxes but haven’t found a reliable source for them.

I’ve found some wooden “pill box” styled containers that will look quite nice once stained and finished but again are a bit small. Yet they make a great small, sturdy “den" or “nest" for small sculpture pieces.

Tell me - what do you love to see in jewellery packaging?
