Seriously Hooked On Creating More Books

I’ve been thoroughly involved in creating more notebooks to sell via Amazon lately, using artwork that I’ve created over the years and have often licensed for print on demand products in the past. I’ve already had a sale or two with my original published notebook. Yay!

I love a beautiful notebook. It sparks my imagination and make me feel so good about getting my thoughts down in one place.

When I was a school kid I would have been so excited to have notebooks and journals that had artwork on the cover that would set it apart from everyone else’s books. It probably also would have helped me with organization and clarity, as a visual learner and an undiagnosed ADHD person.

Imagine knowing your purple unicorn notebook was what you needed to grab for english literature class? Or the golden unicorn held you social studies notes? Heck, this would have helped me in University too I’m sure!

I’m considering using these personal favourite art works for calendars and organizers too. I just have some details to work out.

What kinds of books would you be interested in owning? Does the art on your journal inspire you? Let me know!

I’ve been involved in licensing my work for print on demand merchandise for over a decade. My art (on everything from t-shirts to shower curtains and fabric) has been shipped all over the world. Imagine that! For example I sold a custom dachshund tie to someone in Japan. Wow!

Well, I stopped most of that work to focus on my family and delve deeper into growing as a painter. I still have quite a lot of work available and you can see it here.

I’m expanding my offerings in this realm now as it only makes sense as a business to have multiple offerings. But its also incredibly fun! How satisfying it is to see my work welcomed into people's homes and lives in ways that make them happy. Does it get better than that? I don’t think so.
